Gotta love their phylosophy of game designer. Make a game perfect, then release it. Not like a lot of other companies that just tries to fix things after release…

The downed system and many things talked about here has been shown already in demos. It’s far from crap.

They do have texts shown as well. As, though when you play Gw2 you can just go into the action as you see it happening without explanation from an npc, there is the option for those that want to have a more personal experience with the npc. So you don’t have to worry about missing something you misheard or have to sit around listening over & over. Also, scenes are the same way with what’s being acted out in voice, there will be caption at the bottom for what is being said.

What about ,if you dont have sound on, on your computer while you play GW2. They must than put subs also xD
@HellenicSacredKin It does actually have portals to cross once in long while. They’ve mentioned before in a convention that there’s zone points that can take around 15-20 minutes or so to travel between. And considering there’s no mounts in the game, 15+ min of travel doesn’t break immersion too often or easy.
Now, I can understand why you’d rage about that as most perceive this as “private” zones that ruin immersion but in this game they’re for reducing lag (which kills the immersion anyhow).
Only base events like the centaurs attacking would happen in intervals of time, but many events in the game is said to only happen after either certain events took place, with regards to success or failure of those events. And all effects from events are persistent until players change them.

@HellenicSacredKin I think you’re asking how to travel from one place to another? if so, I think you will have a map and their are “hearts” you can click the heart and teleports you there.
